ClientScope API

ClientScope API provides access to KYC/AML due diligence and payment information of banks, financial institutions and corporates from ClientScope database. 

The solution allows clients to seamlessly integrate ClientScope API with client internal systems. It also provides the flexibility to choose the required data points and preferred data delivery method based on the business needs.

Clients typically choose a subset of the ClientScope data universe and data type to determine the data points that meet their business requirements. For instance, a client can request access to basic entity information (“data type”) for only active banks (“data universe”) via the API. 

 

ClientScope data universe is typically classified into 3 subsets:

  • Banks-only universe — Approximately 40,000 currently active banks. 
  • BankCheck universe — All entities in BankCheck. Approximately 23 million entities, including banks, financial institutions, and related entities.
  • Complete universe — Approximately 360 million entities, including corporates, banks, financial institutions, and related entities. 

 

Typical ClientScope data types are the following:

  • KYC API: KYC and AML due diligence information of entities
  • KYC Documents API: KYC and AML due diligence documents of entities
  • Payments API: Payment routing information of entities
  • Regulators API: Regulation information of entities

 

Within data types, clients can choose specific data areas to narrow down to their specific business needs. For example, within KYC and AML due diligence information, clients can choose to access only the ownership information and identifier information of a specific universe of entities. 

These concepts - data universe, data type and data areas - are reflected in the API structure to allow better flexibility and customisation. 

Equally, the data universe, data type and data areas alongside with frequency and usage will impact the price of the ClientScope API services. 

CS Regulation API

ClientScope provides access to entity regulation status collected from 200+ jurisdictions daily.  Our technology checks over 200 regulatory jurisdictions every single day to provide the most current possible information regarding the regulatory status of entities in our database. This information is accessible through BankCheck as well as via our CS API services. CS Regulation API “Regcheck” in particular is solely focused on feeding up-to-date regulation information of entities from ClientScope data universe. The service allows clients to configure the data feed based on their business needs by setting preferences such as target entity data universe or update frequency of the regulation information. 

For instance, clients can choose a subset of the ClientScope data universe and update frequency when their business requires to know the regulation status of entities in certain jurisdictions to abide by domestic or international regulations (ie.  Regulation (EU) No 575/2013 of the European Parliament) , say,  every three months

CS Payment Optimisation Engine

ClientScope Payment Optimisation Engine enables clients to select and feed optimal payment routing data to banks’ internal payment systems on an automated basis.

The optimised payment routing data feed is configured by standard or client-chosen custom rules delivered via client-preferred data delivery format (API, FTP, data feeds). Based on the choice of delivery format, clients will have to develop the necessary operational procedures internally and Lacuna will provide data.
